COMMERCIAL
and Hospitality
Architecture, at its best, creates a framework for experience — shaping how people gather, move, reflect, and connect to place. Blake Civiello approaches commercial work through this lens, developing spaces that balance clarity of function with a strong sensitivity to atmosphere, material, and landscape.
Working across hospitality, community, and experiential environments, his practice emphasizes restraint, durability, and contextual design. Each project is grounded in the belief that architecture should feel timeless rather than imposed — responding naturally to its surroundings while supporting the rhythms of everyday use.
Recent work: Norden Camp
Blake’s recent work for Norden Camp reflects an architectural approach centered on connection: connection to nature, to community, and to shared experience. Designed with an emphasis on openness and environmental integration, the project prioritizes spaces that encourage gathering, retreat, movement, and reflection.
The work explores the balance between utility and warmth through thoughtful spatial planning, natural material palettes, and an understated visual language. Rather than competing with the landscape, the architecture works in dialogue with it — allowing light, texture, and site conditions to shape the experience of the built environment.
